Dedicated column for Analysis of Sugar and Organic Acid Shim-pack SPR series has been developed for the analysis of neutral to weakly acid hydrophilic compounds. These columns are ideal for analyzing organic acids such as short-chain fatty acids, hydroxycarboxylic acids and ketocarboxylic acids, as well as trisaccharides or below and sugar alcohols. Shim-pack SPR series columns are packed with 8% crosslinked sulfonated polystyrene gel and used under the following conditions. Shim-pack SPR-H Ion exclusion chromatography column primarily for analyzing organic acids. Shim-pack SPR-Na Size exclusion chromatography column for analyzing trisaccharides or below and organic acids. Shim-pack SPR-Ca Size exclusion chromatography column mixed with ligand exchange mode for analyzing trisaccharides or below and sugar alcohols. Shim-pack SPR-Pb Size exclusion chromatography column mixed with strong ligand exchange mode, well-suited for analyzing sugar alcohols.
